Rental Policy & Terms
Before signing the Rental Agreement Form, take some time to review the Rental Policy thoroughly. The Rental Agreement Form will provide all the essential details specific to your rental.
We want your rental experience to be enjoyable, and having all the necessary information upfront is key. Though it may require a bit of time now, it could save you valuable time in the future.

Driver`s Qualifications
- For any rental agreement, the driver’s age must be at least 22 years old.
- A valid driving license held for a minimum of one year is required.
- The driver’s license can be issued from Greece, or the European Union, or the driver can hold a valid International Driving Permit (IDP).
- The driver must hold a valid credit or debit card, accepted by Best Way Travel, for all necessary pre-authorization amounts as well as pre-payments and settlement of final rental charges.

Payment and Credit/Debit Card Charges
To complete an online reservation through www.bestwaytravel.gr, the customer must have a valid credit or debit card. In order to pick up the reserved vehicle, the cardholder must present the card under which the reservation was made. The cardholder will appear as the driver on the rental agreement. We accept most credit/debit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, and Maestro.
Best Way Travel reserves an amount of €500 with each rental via debit card or cash. The amount is returned to the renter in full within 48 hours after the drop-off of the vehicle if the rental vehicle is returned without material damage not covered by the renter’s coverage package and if no other term of the contract is violated. For on-request reservations, prices are subject to change before payment and completion of the reservation.
Changes to Reservations
Best Way Travel allows you to make changes to a reservation through the contact details of the company. Any change to a booking will be recalculated based on the availability and prices at the time the change is made. This may be greater or lesser than the price originally booked.
Cancelations, No Show/Lost Rentals
Pre-paid reservation: A full refund will be made to the credit card, debit card or PayPal account used for the pre-paid reservation as long as the cancellation is made at least 14 days prior to the date and time of pick-up. If you fail to cancel within this time limit, Best Way Travel reserves the right to not refund the reservation fee amount. If the reservation is canceled outside the pre-determined time limits or if the customer fails to collect the vehicle on the predetermined pick-up date and time, Best Way Travel reserves the right to not refund the reservation fee, which covers administration and operational costs.
Early Return
Please note that we are unable to give a refund if you return the vehicle earlier than the reservation’s return date and time.
Car Availability
All reservations are subject to availability. The company reserves the right to provide a different car model than that originally reserved of an equivalent or higher model type.
Grace Period
At the end of the agreed rental period, Best Way Travel allows a grace period of 29 minutes free of charge, after which the renter will be charged with a minimum of one full day rental.
Traffic Fines
All fines resulting from the driver’s conduct are born solely by the renter.
Insurance
All authorized drivers of Best Way Travel vehicles are covered against damages from fire to the rented vehicle and liability insurance to third-party death, injury, and property. Both coverages are subject to the General Terms of Best Way Travel’s insurance contract with its insurer.
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
All authorized drivers of Best Way Travel vehicles are covered against damages from fire to the rented vehicle and liability insurance to third-party death, injury, and property. Both coverages are subject to the General Terms of Best Way Travel’s insurance contract with its insurer.
Full Cover (FC)
All authorized drivers of Best Way Travel vehicles are covered against damages from fire to the rented vehicle and liability insurance to third-party death, injury, and property. Both coverages are subject to the General Terms of Best Way Travel’s insurance contract with its insurer.
Gasoline Re-Charge Payment Policy
The renter can be charged for missing fuel according to the gasoline re-charge payment policy. If there are fuel level differences between the pick-up date and time and the drop-off date and time, the renter will be charged with the cost of refueling plus a service cost of 10€.
Collection/Delivery
Every collection or delivery that does not take place at a Best Way Travel location shall be charged according to the pricing policy of the company. For every delivery or collection outside working hours might affect the given price.
Ferry Transportation
Ferry transportations are not allowed at any of the vehicles of the company.
